Ever since I started coding, I have thought the same thing: it would be much nicer if I could simply tell the computer what I wanted and have it build it. Programming languages always felt like an intermediate layer between the thing in my head and the thing I actually wanted the machine to do. For years, AI kept moving toward that idea without becoming reliable enough for the way I like to work.

At the start of 2026, that changed for me. AI coding became good enough that I could stop treating it as an occasional assistant and start rebuilding my entire development process around it. tanishk.ai became the place where I tested that idea. It started as a personal website and quickly became everything I had wanted to build but previously could not justify spending the time on.

It has my work, résumé, writing, and projects, but it also has mini apps, unusual navigation systems, reusable components, different visual systems, interactive pages, AI conversations, and a growing collection of small ideas that I can now simply build because I am curious about them. Many of those things would once have taken days or weeks and would never have survived the question of whether they were “worth” building.

The site is now both my home on the internet and my laboratory for learning how AI changes software development. It is not only there to explain what I have done. I want the site itself to be evidence of what I can make now. People can read about me, but they can also explore the things I build, use them, talk to an AI version of me, and see the experiments as they evolve.
