Intnex

Intnex started with an acquaintance bringing me an idea around using AI to evaluate exams. At first, my role was simply to talk it through with them: what the product actually was, whether the technology could solve the problem reliably, whether anyone would pay for it, and whether there was enough there to justify building a company. They decided to pursue it, and I became a mentor. Over time I ended up much deeper in the product itself.

The most useful thing Intnex taught me was a different way to use AI for product thinking. You do not always need to hold an entire complex product in your head before you begin. If you categorise it properly and start documenting it, each PRD forces you to solve one small set of problems. Those decisions immediately affect the other documents, so you update them as you go. Slowly, the product becomes coherent because every important thought has somewhere to live and every contradiction eventually has to be resolved.

The last time I had done documentation at comparable complexity, at neo humans, two people spent roughly two months thinking and writing PRDs at a very high pace. With Intnex, I produced a similarly substantial product definition largely by myself in around two weeks using AI. It was not disposable AI output. The documentation was detailed enough that when we built the first MVP, what came out felt much closer to a complete product than an ordinary first version.

Intnex was also where I pushed AI much further into the actual craft of building. I used Claude to create complete design systems in days, for work that had previously taken me months. I built the backend end to end with AI. Parts became messy when I moved too quickly, but I could also use the same tools to pull them back into clean architecture and code that I could read and understand myself. That was the important part. AI was making me dramatically faster without taking control of the product away from me. Intnex was where I learned how to build properly with AI rather than simply generate things with it.
