The idea
I wanted gemstones I could put on a website and play with. Different cuts, different colours, and light moving across their facets.
These are the same gems used around this site. Pick one to open it full screen, then try the different stones.
How it works
A shared JavaScript renderer draws the cuts and lighting. The shape and stone can be changed independently, with highlights, shimmer and colour built into the same reusable gem.
